firstly, I aplogise for what is obviously newbie stuff... i still need help please

I am trying to us the PV450 for a hydraulic hybrid drive and am stuck at just getting it going.

The question is in a few parts:
a) in the PV450 install document, page 8, we see the required wiring diagram which I have followed. I am SURE the diagram is looking on the back of the connector but your image shows the center single tab that is not visible from the rear view, Further the actual connector has TWO tabs to prevent connector plug B fitting in plug A, but you still show a single center pin. So either the view is from the wrong direction but in any case you don’t show both blocking pins. Which is it please
b) If I have wired correctly, then in any case I should be able to see a fat32 formatted USB drive when I perform the instructions of the addendum, page 28 of the same document. I have tried 3 usb devices and none show, so I do think that I may have wired the post the wrong way (yet port B is fine and the device starts etc?) I am very confused
c) I am aware of the issue of using the correct chip set . we were supplied with a single device “plugable usb2.0 fast Ethernet” device. The question has a few aspects. Firstly this does not seem to be a viable device? Is it just a mistake? Secondly, we only have one of these devices. ( and I confirm it works on the pc as a device etc, just not with powervision) I have plugged in a the other end in the gigabyte Ethernet port and nothing. So the question is: Do you HAVE to have a usb to Ethernet device on the PV450, then a Ethernet cable to ANOTHER usb to Ethernet device THEN into PC ( stated differently, seeing as I was only given one USb to Ethernet device, was I meant to p[lug that just into my Ethernet port or is it just a error on this side

a) I have attached the PV450 Technical Specifications document. The last page shows the proper key and pinouts. Pin 1 is on the bottom left when looking at the back of the display.

b) Here is a topic that gives some information about USB sticks:

c) Yes, you need 2 Ethernet adapters.
This part number only includes 1 adapter.

I believe part number 78090104 Programming Kit includes 2 Ethernet adapters, Ethernet cable, power supply, and plugs. It is shown in the PowerVision Core manual on page 8 (with old part numbers).

Just to update those with similar issue:

Our local agent (Marcell from ECS) solved the problem the following way:

1) The D+ and D- pins were to be connected inversely from how the instructions showed.
2) We had to create bootloader installs in 2.6, and the update the firmware to 2.8 (IE: open murphy PV450 base design in 2.6, Create bootloader to USB. Plug that in to the modified pin-out USB to the display, and burn it by holding the top left key. Next, open PowerVision 2.8 and load the non-bootloader 2.8 firmware to USB and repeat the burn process.)

The swapping of the D+ amd D- lines made the pluggable USB Ethernet dongle work in 2.8. We were then able to use a single USB to Ethernet, with the non-display end of the ethernet plugged straight in to the computer with ethernet settings: IP 192.168.0.5, Subnet 255.255.255.0, default gateway 192.168.0.2. So, we did not need two USB to ethernet adapters with this configuration.
