Hello Everyone
I am working on the fwMurphy PV450 display to get it set up for being placed in some trucks in the future.
The flashing in the future will not be done by me.
So I received a questions about wrong wiring.
What will happen, if you accidentally plug in A and B into C and D?
I know, that the DEUTSCH connectors are made the way you can't plug in B into A or C into D and the other way around, but you can plug B into C and A into D.
I don't want to destroy my display by just trying it.
Have you at Murphy made any test with that and can you give me any advises?
Thanks

Re: Questions an a wrong wiring on a PV450
Hi vom1rhi,
It is not recommended that the wiring be connected in any other than the listed connections. Swapping the A and D connectors can damage the connected USB drivers. Swapping the B and C connectors puts voltage in excess of 5V on the Analog Input which is not recommended for extended periods.
