Hello,
Working with a PV780T using RS485 Modbus.
I have the poll rate at 50ms, the baud rate at 57600, the PV780T is a modbus master.
I am noticing that the modbus does not seem anywhere near as responsive as I would expect with that kind of poll rate and baud rate.
I am trying to figure out how to increase the responsiveness of the PV780T gauges showing modbus values, I am reading about 31 registers in one read and 25 in another (no gaps in register numbers) and it's not only slower to refresh than I would expect, but sometimes it will not refresh/update a gauge for ~2-3 seconds sometimes, and it's very noticeable.
I have variables under the programming tab linked to the modbus list, and I am not performing calculations on the vast majority of values, simply tagging them to gauges.
Does Enovation Controls have any tips/tricks to offer when dealing with modbus?
Let me know your thoughts on this.

I forwarded your comments to the test engineers, they do quite a bit of Modbus development and testing. They were surprised by the issue you are seeing. Can you Private Message the configuration to me and we will take a look?

Just to follow up on the post, I ended up setting a Baud Rate of 9600 and a poll rate of 200ms and it works fine.
