Is it possible to extract a configuration file from a working display and manipulate this in PowerVision?

You must be so busy with your PowerVision config that you haven't had time for posting to the forum!

We get this question occasionally and the designers/developers talk about it and what it would take to make it happen, but it hasn't been done, yet.

So the answer is that right now, it cannot be done. It seems like it could be useful. We just want to be sure to protect the intellectual property that goes into a configuration among other considerations.

I know, I have two at a time with changing wishes and demands. And then Mark keeps cracking his jokes here causing a lot of distraction...

Anyway I'm glad to hear there is not a way to do this at the moment. I can see the usefulness of it, but in our case we would like to protect our IP as well.

No change. It is still not possible to extract a configuration from a display.
