I am calculating Total Distance Traveled in my configuration. Can this parameter be stored in EPROM so that when a new config is downloaded to the PV450, it will not loose the previous value?
Currently if a send a configuration out to the field for uploading I will have to note the distance traveled and hard code it into the initial value of the parameter.
Thanks!

Re: Storing Miles Travelled in EPROM
Hello Scott,
There is a way to store/save the Parameter to the unit’s non-volatile Flash memory by checking the ‘Save Value’ checkbox for the variable in Programming section of the PowerVision Configuration Studio software. But this will only make sure that when the unit is powered on (reboot), the non-volatile data is restored from flash memory into working copies of data used by the applications. However, when a new config is downloaded to the PV450, it is not possible to restore the Parameter value held by the previous config. Let me know if I can be of further help.
Thank you,

Harish, thank you for the response. Do you think my request can be added to a future release?

The ability to save data between updates is on our backlog to look at in future releases.
