Dear Sir or Madam,
Would you please advise me if DM3 (Diagnostic Data Clear) function can be used on PV750? If so, please also advise me how to set by configuration tool.
Thank you and best regards,
Shiii

Re: DM3 Function on PV750
Hello Shiii,
DM3 can be easily used on the PV750, it is just a request for PGN 65228 (0xFECC) and you can do that with a Free Form CAN message like in the attached screenshot.
The CAN message will look like this:
0x18EA00F2 CC FE 00
Regards,
ksaenz

Hello Ksaenz,
Thank you for your prompt attention and the information.
If I need to broadcast(output) some data via CAN-Bus, how should I set on the configuration tool? Some example as well as the DM3 below would be very helpful for me to understand how to set.
Best regards,
Shiii

Re: DM3 Function on PV750
tshiii,
If you want to broadcast standard J1939 parameters you can simply add them to the Transmit Device under the desired CANPort in Environment Setup and the PV750 will use the PGN, scaling, and repetition rate specified in the J1939 Parameters table found in the Database section.
If you want to broadcast other CAN messages like the DM3 request in the attached example you can set them up as Free Form CAN messages. In this case you have to specify the Message Type, Frame ID, Data Length, filters (if used), and the data in the message manually. To send Free Form CAN messages you use actions in state machines.

ksaenz
