I'm having some issues programming my PV780 via a USB stick. I have my configuration in PowerVision V2.8 and I select to Create a Full Install. Once this is done, I tell it to save the configuration onto my USB stick.
I then take my USB stick to my PV780 with a USB dongle, restart my display while holding a button, but I get a screen telling me to insert a USB stick. I've tried restarting without the USB inserted and then inserting it when I get to this screen, and there is no change.
I'm thinking that I'm not setting up my USB stick from PowerVision correctly. Should I Generate a Bootloader? The warning associated with this worries me as these are deliverable displays.

Re: Programming PV780 Display through USB
Hello andersnj,
I would find a different USB stick. Some work, some don't.
There are some old posts about USB drive issues. You might look at this post. Since the display isn't recognizing the USB stick, then you may need to reformat or try other sticks. At one time SanDisk was recommended, but that can be dependent on formatting, age and abuse.
If you try this and continue to have problems, let us know and we can dive deeper into the problem.
