Upgrading config from 2.8

Hello,

I am currently using 2.8.10491 and I would like to know if there are any known issues with importing configurations into 2.9.

That is v2.8 Patch 1 so it is 3 patch versions back. But I do not see any known issues listed. You should be able to upgrade straight to v2.9. The best thing to do is to upgrade the configuration and do a Tools Validate Configuration. A lot of times the error messages are catching inconsistent things in the configuration that were not caught before.
