Is it possible fore a Murphy PV380 to receive J1939 messages from a different PLC?

Yes the PV380 can receive J1939 messages from anything on the network as long as the PGN is configured.

Thanks....what about through CAN HI/LO?

PowerVision can only communicate using J1939.
