Hi there,
I have a PV380 configuration successfully triggering the digital output under certain conditions.
The logic works perfectly, and the digital output appears to switch as it should.
The issue, however, is that the output does not appear to fully open when in the "OFF" state.
When the output is = "1" I can see 12VDC between supply V+ and the sinking output
When the output is = "0" I can see 9.5VDC between supply V+ and the sinking output
I expected to see much closer to 0VDC when the output is off?
Look forward to your response.

Re: PV380 Digital Output
**SOLVED**
Seems adding a load seems to make the digital output function as expected.
Hopefully this saves someone else the same confusion in the future.

Re: PV380 Digital Output
Alex,
This is correct, there is an internal pull up and some protection on the output. So it needs some kind of load.
