Scripting Compile Problems

Post by SFASFA » Wed Nov 13, 2013 11:25 am

I am having an issue when I go to compile scripts I get an err "Aritmatic Operation Resulted in an overflow". This happens with all scripts even known working scripts. This ocurrs in both 2.3 and 2.6 of powervision configurator.

We definitely don't see the same issues here when we tested 2.3 and 2.6. I think to investigate further we are going to need a copy of your configuration. You can send it via PM message or to bmcrae@envovationcontrols.com.

Was this a configuration you developed in an older version of 2.3 and then upgraded to 2.6?

We got the configuration. All scripts compiled for me. There are a lot of scripts in the configuration. When do you see this error? Can you give me a screen capture of it? I am wondering if this appears after a number of compile attempts or happens every time for you.

It works for us here, but we have a theory that might be the issue.

Can you check and make sure the version of the tool matches the version of the installed software on the display? We think this could be version mismatch issue.

To check, all version in the configuration tab upper right corner need to match. If they don't do a full install and load that. A full install it is located in the tools menu.
