Multiple simultaneous button presses

Post by embtechnicalservices » Tue Sep 26, 2017 2:38 pm

I've noted a couple of threads stating that it is not possible to utilize multiple button presses (e.g. press and hold three keys) as a reliable function. Does anyone know if this is now possible on any newer hardware? I'm working on a PV485 config.

Cheers,
Adrian

(I hope you didn't notice my previous reply because I was totally wrong.)

The newer displays, with the M2 processor, have the multi-key press ability.

Thanks Boyce, it doesn't appear in the list although I am using the same version as you. Could it be that I'm designing this for a 485 (actually testing it on a 450) and hence it doesn't appear because it can't be set up?

The 485 display definition was added in PV2.9. But, the 485 does not use the M2 processor so it does not have the multi-key ability. I looked back and you said that you were using a 485. Sorry for missing that and for any confusion.
