Can I use a analog input as a digital input if select "Digital in:..." on configuration?
What is the difference between "Digital in:0-5V" and "Digital in:400 ohms pull-up"?
It's in case of PV780 and PV configuration studio 2.7.
Thank you for reading.

Re: How to use a analog input as a digital input of PV780?
Hello Hiroto Miyazaki,
I have previously posted information with an example of using an analog input as a digital, but it was for a PV380 which is a monochrome display and IO works a little different from the color displays (PV780). A PV780 config is simpler since PowerVision Configuration Studio provides some more help for the color displays that isn't available for the monochrome displays.
For both types of display, you start in the Library tab\IO Definitions and create the input variable. For the Operation Mode, you will select from the dropdown list. With a color display though, you will see Digital in: 0-5V or Digital in: 400 ohms pull-up. Configuring the input this way, you will only need to check for 0/1 on your input variable.
Then go to the Connections tab to enable the appropriate analog input, set the Selector Varaible and Add Definition becomes active. When you select Add Definition, the popup lets you select the input that you created in the Library.
Another aspect to keep in mind is that some of the analog inputs have pull-up/down resistors and this will affect the input readings in the config. I am gathering the information for the PV780 inputs and will provide those soon.

Thank you for a quick reply.
It's helpful.
I'll also check the previous topic of PV380 inputs.
