I recently received a new laptop that runs W7. My old one developed a video problem. I was able to download 2.3 without any issues. I also installed the ASIX driver AX88772A,and it shows up in my device manager under network adapters. However after "creating" my file it will not download to the display. The "load" button does not illuminate. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: Windows 7 drivers
Hello,
I have a similar question, I'm running windows 7 and attempting to configure a PV450. I have connected the PV450 USB directly to a USB port on the PC. Do I need some kind of USB to ethernet driver to get this setup working?
Thanks,
David

Re: Windows 7 drivers
Hi dsuelzle ,
You cannot plug USB on the device directly to USB on the PC. The USB drivers on the device are setup to host USB only. PC communication to the device requires the use of the Programmers Kit that should have been supplied with the device. Please contact your sales rep if this is not available. This kit includes an ASIX device that provides for Fast Ethernet connection via USB port. This enables the user to communicate to the device via ASIX devices, ethernet cable, and the USB ports on the PC and the device. It also includes the basic software drivers for the ASIX devices.
You may have to upgrade the drivers dependent on your operating system. Drivers can be found on the ASIX website at http://www.asix.com.tw and then Support > Download > Drivers > USB 2.0 to Fast Ethernet.
