Hello,
I am trying to import/convert a PV750 config from 2.3 to PV780 in 2.6. I tried using the "Import MurphyConfig File," but the imported file did not display as a choice. So I closed 2.6 and directly double clicked on the imported file and I got a message, "This install of PowerVision can not load configurations of type PV-750-Portrait." The 2.3 program is technically in portrait mode according to the description but is viewed in normal mode. The display as programmed and shown has buttons down the left and along the bottom, with 11 buttons total. I did not write the original config but am being asked to convert it to PV780 & make some upgrades. I do not even know if it is a normal or special order display.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: Convert PV750 to PV780?
OK, apparently it was a custom button display.
I figured out that I had to convert the 2.3 Portrait to 2.3 Landscape and remap the 11th button, then import into 2.6.
Everything looks good now!

Re: Convert PV750 to PV780?
I have similar issues.
I have a configuration created with Powervision 2.3 for a PV750 display. I need to convert this to a PV780 configuration. I have imported the murphy configuration file on the Power vision 2.6, but when opening the file, it gives me an error that says: "Value cannot be null, PArameter name: key" I click ok on the error pop up window and nothing loads.
What am I doing wrong? How do I convert a project for a PV750 display into a project for PV780?
Regards,
Andres

hello Andres,
You might want to repost this as a new thread. The Murphy guys might not notice your question on an old post.
Sorry I am not sure what the issue is or I would try to answer it.
Regards,
Phil
