Hey folks,
Quick question:
Is it possible to implement DM1 lamps so as to utilise both Amber AND Red LED's when DM1's of both severity are active?
I've attempted a loop within an AP that will step through each current DM1 to determine lamp status - but unfortunately it appears that the DM1.Next command does not process at time of call within an AP.
Your quickest response would be highly appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Alex

Hi Alex,
You can try looking at the value of Dm1.RawLampStatus.
Keep in mind that the DM1 message doesn't send a lamp status for every individual fault but a global status so if there is at least one red lamp status fault that's what the DM1 message will send.

Hi!
I considered that also, I worked on a config with a device that would send both amber and stop lamp status. Having both amber and stop in the lamp status isn't the standard, so you can't rely on it.
Going through the DM1 list seems to be only sure way. If only, , monochrome displays could use lists, this would be much simpler. Maybe add a shape in activity programs for read/write rows and columns.
