Our customer would like to display the fuel level on the pV101. It did display the fuel level for a short period of time, then it showed "CAN BUS FAILURE" because other CAN parameters were not transmitted to the display, but only analog input was active(V+, GND, and Analog input pins were connected). Can they use the PV101 display as a "fuel level gauge"(For examle, they can do that by disabling all the parameters of the PV101-C with configuration tool)? They understand this is a good way to display the fuel level, but need to manage the situation as soon as possible.

We will pass this along to our PV101 group. You might call your murphy rep and ask if this is something that could be done specifically if the standard won't support it.
