SPN 5610 after disconnect

Post by drphil69 » Tue Dec 04, 2012 11:44 am

Hello,

I have a customer that gets a DM message, SPN5610, after diconnecting and reconnecting the display. There is a battery disconnect on the truck that is used to save the battery if the truck isn't going to be used for awhile. I use the internal resistor in the PV750 for termination and I am wondering if the resistor is not active fast enough, causing an error?

I have the J1939 documentation (-71 and -73) and there is no mention of SPN5610. The display indicates transmission device as the source, but the tranny documentation also does not list SP5610.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Phil

Oops, the SPN is 5160, not 5610...

Hello drphil69,

Here is what I what found on SPN 5160.

Name:
Auxiliary valve number 0 measured flow limit status.

Description:
This parameter is used to report the tractor ECU’s present measured flow limit status associated with valve number 0 flow commands that are persistent.
