RS485 port on PV380
I see that the I/O on the PV380 includes an RS485 port and was told that it currently does not support the PVA gauges (only PVCAN gauges), however, does it support Modbus?
I am using PowerVision 2.6.10319 on Windows 8 and I cannot find the RS485 port on the list of Communication Ports on the Connections tab. If this is not supported yet, are there plans to include this? When can I expect to see the next update that would unlock this port?
Thank you!

Re: RS485 port on PV380
We have not determined a final date for 2.7 but work is ongoing on the feature set. The tentative time frame is Q3/Q4.
The new 350/380 is a first release on a new platform that targeted at a much lower hardware spec and therefore lower cost. As we put features on the platform (and we are trying to hard to bring as many features as possible to the platform) we must necessarily tune them to run well on the new CPU and lower memory limits imposed by the hardware. This process takes time and of course requires us to prioritize which features come first and which had to wait a bit. 2.7 will get us much closer to parity between the Color and Monochrome displays and we will put out a beta/releases as fast as we can do so while providing a high quality release.
Personally... the 380 is one of my favorites. Mine is sitting right here on my desk next to the 780 that i use for testing new features on as they are created....it gets a lot of attention and I expect will get better and better of the next few releases.

Hello Jake,
As we are approaching the end of Q3 and beginning of Q4, is there an updated release time frame for 2.7, or the 2.7 Beta version?
Thank you!

With any luck, I will be announcing a beta signup in the next few weeks. The software is complete and we are waiting for some internal projects to wrap up before submitting to test/beta.

Great! Thank you for the update. We have two ongoing projects that can use the Modbus update; one with PVA gauges and the other as a Modbus slave. We'll be happy to try out the beta software.
