Our customer would like to convert the speed signal as follows. Is it possible with the PowerVision and PV780? If possible, please let me know how to do that.
Input : 8 pulses/rev. ==> PV780 ==> Output : 4 pulses/rev.
Thank you,
Dai Uematsu

Re: Speed Signal Conversion on PV780
Hi Dai Uematsu,
Yes, the PV780 and PowerVision are capable.
The Frequency Input value is Hertz with a range of 0 - 10 KHz. You need to write an expression that will convert the input to RPMs. The expression can be used in a calculation event on a displayed variable or you can use the expression as a pre-defined curve that is association with a displayed variable.
