Print commands from scripting

Post by mbowdich » Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:09 am

I see that in the scripts in the configuration that there are many Print commands. Is there the abiblity to get a console connection to the display be able to view these? If so, how? If not, how are they being realized, as I can see from the document that was attached, that there they can be seen.

Edit: This was meant to be a reply in the thread "Re: ScriptFileAccessDemo script errors". Please see that thread and you will understand the question.

Mbowdich,

I found this previous post concerning the print() function. The print function was provided as a way to debug but requires modification of startup scripts. This function may be removed in future releases. The preferred method for debugging is now setting a string in a text widget on the display.
