I am a new user to this system. I was going through the tutorials, posted in the forum. The DB3 files posted in all the topics dont seem to be compatible when I download them onto the the HW and SW version 2.3 that I have. dont seem to work at all. So I downloaded the Powervision 2.2 so I can atleast look at the code and try to replicate it in version 2.3 My hardware seems to only like codes written in version 2.3
In versin 2.2, In the database tab, there used to be a tab for system variables, where the user can define a user variable, (example : in the 5 second counter that somebody posted) Now the database tab has no system variables tab. How is one supposed to define a variable in version 2.3 ?
Is there any way I can load the codes put in these forums on my 2.3 hardware, even if they were written for powervision 2.2 ? Or are there any csimple odes available for powervision 2.3 which i can look at? ( apart from that standard one which is only CAN gauges.)

Hello dshaunak,
In 2.3 the user variables have moved to the programming section.
To create a new variable you can right-click in the programming items list or click the add (+) button at the top of the programming items list.
To import a configuration from 2.2 to 2.3 you can click on the "Import from 2.2..." button in the open dialog window.
For this to work your 2.2 .db3 files need to be in the 2.2 folder:
"...\Murphy Configurations\Version 2.2\DBs\"
