HV780 and MX5 expansion module

Dear Expert

HV780 is ABS approved ? :?

I am looking forward to know whether I can use MX5 expansion module with HV780 display ? :roll:

Zakir,

I have attached the IOM for the MX5 module. You absolutely can interface with the MX5 using a 780. Basically you setup the 780 as a modbus master to talk to the MX5 as a modbus slave. The modbus map for the MX5 is in the attached IOM. Using the powervision tool you setup the 780 modbus master read and write groups to do what you need with the MX5 module.

On certification, I don't see the 780 certified as of now. You will have to ask you sales representative about a schedule for certification of the 780. The HV750 (which also can do modbus like the 780) is ABS type certified.
