Copying new PGNs between configurations
A customer has described a situation whereby he may have many different existing configurations, and in the future wish to add in some new PGNs. This is for an NMEA application. Is there any way to do this without having to type in the PGNs on all the existing configurations?

The best way we have in our current releases (through 2.2 which is about to come out) is that you create one with all the values you want in it first, then use it at a baseline for the others. Unfortunately from that point on, you have to maintain them separately.
In 2.3 (currently due towards end of the 1Q 2011), you will be able to export and import, database items (includes the NMEA data), events, actions, and state machines. This will make what the customer is wanting to do much easier. So, in 3 months or so. Until then I would suggest using the same baseline as a basis.
