My configuration needs to accept both J1939 and NMEA 2000 messages from the same ECU. I have created seperate "devices" for J1939 and NMEA 2000, but the result is that whenever the ECU throws a fault code, it appears twice, once for each device. How do I only show the fault code once?
Thanks

Hello chagnonp,
I have a couple of questions
Are both devices listening to the same source address?
Which source address?
Thank you,
ksaenz

Hello Ksaenz,
Yes, both devices are listening to the same source address. I think it is necessary to do it this way since you cannot map both J1939 and NMEA2000 parameters under the same device from what I can tell.
One is looking at source address 0, the other at source address 1.
Thanks,
Pete
