I'm having trouble improving the output waveform of the graph widget.
Basically I'm either adjusting a re-curring Timer speed of a Graph or the # of Data Points in the Graph Widget.
If i decrease the Timer Speed, you can see wave period better but it is very choppy and step like, as if there are not enough data points. But if I add datapoints, it just shrinks the wave visually and you can't see the wave clearly and is still choppy.
The output should resemble a smooth sine wave. I attached different recurring timers at 500 DataPoints as reference.
Is there any advice that you could provide to improve resolution, decrease the choppiness? But still visually be able to see the wave clearly.
If you were wondering the SINE wave is a 2 second period with a 10 VDC amplitude.

Re: Graph Widget Resolution
Did you also increase the Number of Rows in the list that backs the graph widget?

Re: Graph Widget Resolution
Thanks Boyce,
I thought the number of rows is represented by the value of the amplitude of the wave and doesn't affect frequency.
I had increased the number of rows to 10000 in my List. That was the highest default limit. I originally had it at 4400.
It didn't make any visual difference. My current setting is 10ms recurring Timer and 1000 Datapoints.
It's appears similar to as below with the 10ms and 500 DP.
Are there any other suggestions you may have to improve the resolution?

That looks strange. I think it will do what you are trying to do. Can you Private Message the configuration to me so we can poke around in it?
