The frequency input on the PV380 seems to "hold" its last value.
The auto-created variable (in RAW format) corresponds correctly to the frequency in Hz out of a signal generator, but if you disconnect the wire the integer stores the last recorded value... why is this? And is there any way to change this so that it defaults to zero?
Cheers,
Alex

Alex,
We will double check this functionality here. If this is what we are seeing as well, we will enter an issue for this to be looked at.

Re: Frequency Input
It seems that if you use the automatically generated variable, with type RAW then you get this "save last value" result.
If you link a manually created variable with type "Hz" or "RPM" then it defaults back to 0 as expected.
