This is off topic, but I'm curious if anyone has found a good supplier for the female USB connectors to be included with their harnesses.
We are currently using these, but they're a little expensive for just a USB cable.

I can spec out a standard USB cable, but I don't want to have our wire guy have to cut and strip 22 AWG wires in the USB cable. Not only would that be tedious, but I'd be worried about the wires breaking when they do large volumes.

Re: USB Connectors
Got this information, hope it helps:
We use cables from DataPro.com http://www.datapro.net/catalog/usb-pane ... ables.html.
The web page he referenced in his post, didn’t have prices, so I am not sure if these are any cheaper.
L-Com is also another source of USB cables http://www.l-com.com/usb-panel-mount-us ... assemblies.
Enovation Controls uses these: in a USB cable Harness we use.
