PowerVision 2.8.10315
PV780
Windows 10
I imported a PV780 configuration from PowerVision 2.7.10475 and when I attempted to Validate the configuration, I receive an "Error in expression ScreenScaleData. Expression is not valid" message in the Event Log/Console. Double clicking on the message does nothing and searching for "ScreenScaleData" brings no results. I do not know how to fix this. Is this a bug in 2.8.10315? What is the fix? I also imported the MSTD PV780 configuration from 2.7.10475 into 2.8.10315 and the same error occurs when attempting to Validate. For now, I am forced to continue using 2.7.10475 unless there is a solution.
Thank you,
jbilleter

2.8.10315: Error in expression ScreenScaleData. Expression is not valid
Hello Jacob,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have found a fix for the problem you have described. Unfortunately, it isn't something that can be fixed by editing the config, it will take a new version of PowerVision Configuration Studio.
The problem is related to the Screen->Animate* actions leaving orphans in the config.
I hope you and others will continue to report issues you find over the next few weeks.
