Hi John,
I have also found a different instance in the MSTD 2.1 configuration where the screen freezes up. If you load the configuration, turn the power off and back on, cycle through the screens once, change to night mode from the gauge screen, cycle through the screens, change back to day mode from the gauge screen, change a screen, change to night mode from the gauge screen, open the menu, and open the engine diagnostics page. It freezes after it times out almost every time I do it. We stumbled on it by accident, but was able to create a sequence to where it does it almost every time. None of the buttons work at that point. The only way to reset it is to cycle power.
Most of the time, doing this immediately after you download the configuration doesn't create the program. If you download the configuration and first cycle power, that is when the system crashes.
