Though I deleted the state machine which contains specific(& related to that state machine only) transition events, those transition event that got registered during state machine creation didn't get remove and even if we try to delete it manually , it doesn’t allow.

Why is it so?

It sounds like there may be a bug related to this. I will get it logged to fix. In the mean time, i recommend just renaming the event to something that makes it obvious ("DeleteMe" for example) so that it can be deleted at a later time. As long as its not used it shouldn't have any impact on your configuration.
